Dependability

This is an important part of an employee’s behavior. We all want an employee that we can rely on for the longer and more difficult tasks. We don’t want the employees that hand their work over to others not finishing the tasks. Here are two examples on how to respond to a positive and negative.

This is one of the most important qualities an employee can have. You need workers with good listening skills, they cannot complete a task if they didn’t listen and engage to your instructions.

  • Remind employees to share their opinions and listen to them while thinking from their point of view.

The negative examples of this would be:

  • Someone who loses their temper every time their work is criticized.

Problem Solving

Being able to solve problems without coming to the supervisor constantly is an essential quality. This saves everyone time and gets tasks finished quicker.

  • Josh has been known to handle complex problems and offer solutions to management.

  • Joe does not learn from mistakes, and continues to repeat them.

Time Management

Having the ability to manage your time is really important for any job. You want employees to be able to complete tasks within the time frame you need it done.

Quality of Work
